Not been many shore catch reports this summer season

Scotland is getting hammered now, not what it used to be years ago, wont be long before its no better over there then off our coast...last 2 years i have seen my fav marks be covered in rubbish, gutted dead congor, fish killed and left in rock pools and so on.

see you wednesday David. :D
rich they are not anglers that do that, they are summer pests same as inhabits all the piers etc and kill everything they catch, they soon f**k off when the colder weather returns.

Yer true but it still spoils the marks.Am going up the back end of the season, stopping at Dunsky castle for 3 nights. Wont be doing any bait fishing just taken up the pollack gear and spinning stuff.

Another point to consider is that people are keeping there better catches quiet. It dont take much to clear a weed bed out of resident cod, once word gets out.Personally i think it has been a very good year for summer codlings, never blanked yet and had sessions with 6 or 7 fish.Last year was very poor for summer fish.

Alan, we\'re staying at the St Vedas hotel in Coldingham, a spit from the beach and only a couple of miles from the rock edges, isn\'t it Gordon, lol. Looking a bit northerly at the minute though.
