Due to the passing away of NWSA President Lionel Stead the night before the event, the field and the members were slightly withdrawn, and the agm was put on hold until the next event on the 26th of April.
A minute's silence was held as a mark of respect for the man who brought casting as we know it to the northwest.
He will be sadly missed by all, but never forgotten......
Think he was looking down on us as many pb's fell in the day.
The wind built to a steady westerly of 15 mph with the odd gust hitting 20 mph, unfortunatley the pressure was very high at 1031 mb most of the day, allthough this did not stop the lads who were on form, with a great turnout from all through the northern belt, east and west.
The results speak for themselves, PB's are in bold, Distances are all in Yards, Feet and Inches.
Any mistakes lads the give us a shout.
