I think if I'd had a proper pair of hiking boots on I would have made it up there a lot easier, it was tricky with the wellies on and the sweltering heat didn't help. Maybe on another day it would have been easier. Also me and Chris had to climb back over that rocky island before heading straight up the hill, maybe next time with me expecting it to be hellish it might not be that bad. I definitely would not have been able to do it yesterday with my legs aching from the day before, the first bay was much easier up and down.

surely you have read reports ie eyemouth {cannons area} possibly 15 mins walk over rocks,but not to bad. ive only fished it once,but would say fairly easy to get to.ragworm 100% on float tactics.good luck.
