As a (not so) young Northern Irish Lad, you are going to the finest area of the known world (but the North East is champion).

Things to do:

1. At the Bushmills Distillery (the oldest licenced, and unlicenced, distillery in the world), you must try the \"Bushmills Cheesecake\" at the end of your tour. It is an experience you will never forget.

2. Visit the \"Giants Causeway - only 4 or 5 miles away. Breathtaking

3. Just south of portrush is a beach called the \"Silver Strand\". Many years ago I caught many fine specimen tope and bass, casting just beyond the surf line with rag or lug as bait.

3. The Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. Best traversed with a full Ulster Fry in your stomach :)

4. Enjoy the Craic in the country that invented drinking, fun, and life long friendships.

I envy you mate

Love the dream
