We met at roker pier. It was closed so we all drove to shields, and fished from the red lighthouse. The heavens properly opened and lost gear on every cast. So we went back to sunderland and went under the wearmouth bridge.

At least it wasn't a blank mate. I'm debating wether to have a few hours on roker pier today. I'm hoping its worth a shot after the sea yesterday.
