Cool Wind in my Hair ,...................
LOL well at least my regular crew will know what this post is about.
Today Tuesday, the forcast may have been bad, the rain may have been hissing down, the sky dark with clouds and the thunder rolling but ...........
Slinky Kate went to sea ...... for an evening trip.
It had been planned for a while to take a few workmates out one evening but till now we just never managed it and with Sean about to go back to his home area (dare I say it - Manchester (ish)_) we decided this was the last opportunity for the forseeable future .................. then came the rain.
there was supposed to be another lad but he found he was just snowed under with work (nothing to do with the weather I`m sure
)
Still there we were 5.00pm this evening leaving marina IN THE RAIN, still , it`s fishing so whats with a bit rain.
What a great session finished at 7.00pm not because of the conditions but because we`d had a great session and the box was full.
Ended with 11 good codling all around the 5 - 6 - 7 lb mark coming in as double headers at times.
It`s the best feeling on earth taking a friend out for the first time and see him pull in a decent cod (or in this case several
)
Well Done Sean, look forward to the next time (strange how sometimes you dont have to go far to catch good fish)
just the one pic of the evening, Sean with a couple of the cod caught on the trip.
