Ritchie, Terry and myself headed north today - a canny way north :o - 21 miles north of the Tyne & fished 11 wrecks - 8 produced fish - Coaly, Pollack, Ling & Cod - Amazing how the drift altered each time we moved onto the various positions  and mostly within 5 miles of each other. Fishing was steady with most fish taken on baited muppets and shads. When the drift allowed pirks did the job. Best fish went to Terry with a ling of 11+ Lbs. - Happy Days :)

Yes was a great day EddieS, Richie certainly knows his wrecks n drifts. He put us ontop of some good marks and even with those weird drifts still managed to hit the mark every time.
After filleting I ended up with my blue Rhino Bucket full of Ling fillets and the washing up bowl full of Cod & Pollock.
Here's some pics from another angle, just cos I'm vain lol.

...:p

That’s a good haul of fish with some better sized ones as well. With all those, Richie needs to buy some fish boxes for On A Roll.

Yeah the average for the overall catch was about the +4 to 5Ib mark - returned quite a few to grow bigger for next season though - we had to keep a couple that were still size but were unable to be returned. Cheers for comments.

Same this weekend with 28 fish over 4lb with a couple nice cod in the 8-9lb mark to finish the season off. Boat stripped down now, just need to do the oil and remove the batterys and put her away until Mid March.

Roll on 2016

Are you down fri / sat ? Might take her out for a spin sat if she's kitted out
