One for the twitchers out there

During our recent trip to Australia we had a week up at Byron Bay. As luck would have it there was an osprey nest right next to our apartment. Managed a few shots of it seeing off a crow.







We also had a couple of friendly kookaburras keep visiting us. I managed to hand feed them on a couple of occasions.

I was feeding them spare squid fishing bait and they kept bashing it off the ground to make sure it was dead !!!! Very comical but oh so noisey at times.
