well as planned on the way back from the west coast a fortnight back we thought scotland st abbs was our last trip this year myself 3rd time this year me mate 2nd we left tuesday morning to arrive around 1pm after some munch we was keen but the rain wasnt pleasent at all we waited till it settled and made way down to the mark still very wet and slippy but knowing the sun was out and would eventually dry off ,well we was down and wasnt turning back gear set up and eager to catch fish big rod as usual went out while setting up the light gear we was soon into fish straight away wrasse after wrasse on the fresh dug ragworm also a good bucket of fresh crab for reserves for another seshion ,i later got the spinner on with an added jelly worm which my mate had had a smaller pollock and left hes seat to try different tactics ,so i jumped in it and first cast a nice pollock about 2 and a half to 3lb mark there it was my best pollock so far :D

we carried on fishing then me mate stu took a wrasse on the big rod estimated around 2.5lb
actually the big rods again ever seem to produce much all the light gear done most of the fishing floats spinners and legdering we took 51 fish between us pollock wrasse and coalies all mixed all sizes 6 hours was enough so we headed up for the night .

next morning bright and early weather looked alot better nice sunshing but a very strong wind so we decided the closest mark and easiest was the option down again bucket of plunders what was left over off the rag and crab we set up the usual rod again first then onto the lighter gear with floats straight into coalies ranging from 1.5lb to 2lb cracking fight on the float and also more pollock and more wrasse ,this mark seems to produce better stamp of coalies than the last stu tryed for the mackerel to take a few home as they have been dire lately only managed 3 on one chuck out of a dozen casts
