was out tonight it was a toss up between Whitley Bay or Lynemouth, opted for lynemouth(again!), got there about 16.00 plenty of lads there, quiet start then about half hour after it got dark BANG! hell of a bite, nearly pulled my rod out the stand, thought someone had caught my line for a second, started to reel in, caught up with it about 30 yrds out, got it in,nice little coddie 41cm bang on 2lb, thought it was going to be bigger the way it hit but still owa the moon(easily pleased), had a few more knocks that came to nowt left about 21.45. can I just say aswell, when that alcan lets rip with a BIG blast of steam! MY GOD what a racket! it sounds like a jumbo jet about to crash, I nearly poo'ed my pants! but the way the headlamps came on all along the beach i'd say I wasn't the only one! haha!:red:
