I went back to it too. after a break of 20 years. Several reasons, no checking tides, no wet windy dark beaches, no having to get bait. I can just pick up my bag, and rods. But mostly, knowing Sheila doesnt worry Im not going to be washed out to sea. It CAN happen to you..
also, it has to be admitted, there arent plenty more fish in the sea.

There is a lot to be said about this resevoir fishing.
A good example is me coming home today with five lovely trout.
Was at the Derwent all day.

Tho' I hate to say it Hiram you is rite mate.I've stated doing more coarse and fly fishing even to the extent of looking for a decent club,of which there are plenty in my area.it's just a choice now.
