Open Roving Competition

Hi all
Blyth Sea Angling Club is holding its annual open roving match on Sun 21st march if any one would like to participate.
Comp times are 08.00 till 12.0 noon. the weigh in closes at 13.00hrs
Registration is at the Ridley Park Hotel,Blyth from 06.30-07.30
There is a £5 entry fee which is paid out for 1st,2nd and 3rd heaviest bag. There is also an additional guarenteed £100 for the heaviest fish.
Boundaries are from Bergen Quay(Tyne) to pattersons garage (Beadnel)

Sorry for the delay peter ,ive not been on line 4 a few days.
It was a hard day with a very dissapointing weigh in. Only 5 anglers weighing in.
1st Bob Gasgoigne with 2 flattys for 2lb 1oz
2nd Chris Stringer 1 cod for 1lb 1oz ( HF that won him £100 ,can u believe it!! )
3rd Grant Downie 1 flatty 10oz
It was there for the taking but enjoyed it all the same.

Sorry I couldn\'t make it but looks like I didn\'t miss much. Had thought about Warkwoth or Embleton for flatties given the conditions but doesn\'t look like it would have made that much of a difference.
