Otters

I fished the Wear last night and was surprised to see a family of otters larking about in the water. Goes to show that the rivers are steadily getting cleaner..I just hope they had more luck than me catching owt decent!!!....lots of small fish about at the mo and season is over for me as far as the shore goes so its time to dust of the Kayak and get paddling.

There been a few reports of otters being seen on the wear lately, as he said its a sure sign the rivers are getting cleaner and small fish must be abundant. Theres been sightings in the tyne too...

seen 2 otters hanging round the walkway south shields nice to see just shows the water is alot cleaner
