Just out of curiosity on this one wonder how many lads carry snips or pliers for times like that to pass the hook through I have never needed mine touch wood but always have them in my box?

Had one through my middle finger when I was younger, didn't hurt as much as the needle to numb my finger though lol

I watched the fishing adventurer a few weeks back and he was carrying a big spoon in his hand confused instead of putting it in his bag. He fell over on some rocks and got the treble stuck in his palm. Rather than cut the trebles he just yanked it out with forceps. He also lost his rod when he jumped on a fish later on in the same episode

I got a 4/0 O'Shaugnessey stuck in my thumb, worst part has having to push it back through so the barb could be snipped off.

I had a 3/0 in my finger when I was a young\'un - scariest bit about getting it out was being looked after by a rather camp male nurse called Wolfgang or \"Volfy\"

im a member of the "hook well in" club also. mine was cut out on the boat,not nice.sweat weak knees and that was before skipper started cutting
