out again 16th

Me and cuple others fished last nite . Started off on roker pier my two mates had been there an hour had a few bites but ne fish. I got there with my friend wasnt to bad wen we got there but as we got set up the wind picked up and it started snowing wasnt very good stayed anhour or so and pack up wasnt very good my rod stand blew over and rod smashed off the floor broke my tip light glad nowt else broke. Head up to the walk way on the bottom conner fish for cuple hours wich resulted in my friend baging a coley about a pound and a half. And me getting a very small codling few ounces. Was cupple ppl on roker ppl catching bits and pices.try to get on mill dam but was few ppl fishing cudnt be arsed with casting right next to ppl incase of tangles. So thats why ended up on walk way. All in all poor nite baits coming back untouched. Gona wait till sea gets up b4 go back out now.

hi that was me at the end of mill dam with the gray van, i was going to head to roker but a lad at frazers said be better off going to mill dam tonight there was no tide pull so was getting bites every cast but mostly hand size and bugger to hook was getting bait stripped every cast, there was a lad fishing the right conner of the bridge said he had 3 codling as he left at 7 would of been a better spot to get in there for you then the walkway, as i blanked there after low tide, was my first time at mill dam as i always head for walkway or slabs. aint the wind picking up tomorrow ? so was thinking about heading down ssp thur

we went to roker last night and just as we pulled up outside gate few ladds coming off ....well when i say coming off they were orderd off by the coast gaurd as one bloke was locking gate..i asked why it was getting closed for and he's reply was easterly winds forcasted and bad snow was coming during early hours in the morning.
