Out in the Morning.....

I'll be popping down Roker Pier in the morning before work if anyone wants to join me. Should be at the Pier for about 5.45am ish and ill be leaving at around 7.15am ish.

Planning on fishing a few locations along the Seaward side, amongst the rough stuff, in the hope of winkling out a Wrasse. I'll probably just end up bagging my 200th Long Spined Sea Scorpion like, but if you don't try you don't succeed.

Good luck mate. I went back down tonight, along the little reef on the seaward side opposite the 2nd steps, been told there's wrasse there!

Water was dead tonight, really flat and low, not much action at all, spoke to a few people, most of them had been fishing all day and had nothing.

I got "two" grannies, the first on pink isome, the "second" on green. Took photos of both and looking back at the photos just now, I'm 100% sure it's the same one, daft little bugger.

Lovely morning tons of bites, no Wrasse, you guessed it.... Tons of effin' Sea Scorpions and none had the decency to be of the Short Spined variety! Lol

There was loads of Mackerel and Coley Bieng caught. Also I must have seen Sea Trout at least 20 times. Tried spinning for them for a while with no luck.

Ill see what the weathers like and might head back down in the morning.
