Out on the Majenka

Saturday 17,11,07. Got down to the Royal Quays about half 8, loaded up and away we went with a strongish wind blowing to be greeted with a big swell when we got out the piers (reassuring when i pass the RNLI lifeboat knowing them guys arent far away). Headed south to the lighthouse ,tried various spots not even a nibble.Dave made brekkies of pork n apple burgers with home cured bacon and a mug of steaming tea(very welcome). Moved off to the anchour point ,again bugger all and being buffeted about so moved closer in to the north side of the piers.............Sweet Fa. Moved to the south side late afternoon and daves Tesco killer prawn yieled in 4 whiting in quick succession. That made our day. Time to head in ,cold ,tired and looking forward to fish n chips on the way home.

When I saw that you were posting a report, I was thinking "yay a boat report"...as it's been a bit quiet of late
