well not much caught. i caught both fish on the night whiting to about 1 n half pound and a small rockling all returned to fight another day . both my uncles blanked they had a few noks but cudnt conect . i had a few canny noks aswell. out again tonight north shields sum were on the coast beach castin with the left over bait . must say bait was spot on from reel sport heburn

well ended up on marsden beach wasnt to bad plenty ov noks i caught a very small codling returned safely .then 10 mins later my uncle caught a tiny little rockling then it went quiet until i caught a decent codling was about 2lb decided to keep it gutted it and took its head off ready for bag. my uncle said hed wash it in the surf and ened up droping it in . so lost a half decent fish wasnt to happy but wat can u do lol . all in all much better fishing cod seem to be showing up on the coast not in great numbers but there defo there . peter
