Gonna pop out over HW this evening to see what I can encourage to take my lures! Been a couple of weeks so I'm getting a bit twitchy. Got some Fiiisshhh Black Minnows to try out 'HRF Styleee', so I'll be chucking them into the wrack, kelp and rocks to see what happens..... Sea is calmer, weather is milder so hopefully I might get some interest.....

Good luck Si, I'm thinking of doing a bit of HRF over HW tomorrow morning so hope you get a catch report up quick enough to give me a few pointers where to go Take care on those rock marks in the dark mate.

Well gents, I left it a bit late and only got an hour in before it was too dark and dangerous to continue, even with me headlamp!!

Got to try out my new Black Minnows though and I must say I'm quite impressed with the way you can Fish them. You can chuck them where you wouldn't dare throw a spinner and negotiate the rough stuff quite well whilst keeping the contact with the lure. Plus they look the muts nuts too...

Not very good mate, but I saw 2 kayaks fishing off the big beach. I'm gonna try further down behind Souter lighthouse next to see if the waters any better further down between the two rivers.
