Lugworm & week old mussel for bait. I am not coming back until I catch something...... to quote Scott of the Antartic (i think!)...\"I may be gone sometime\"

\"Mouldy mussel cures cod catching crisis.\"
The smelly mussel & lugworm combo did the trick. 3 1/2 lb fresh run codling last night from the \"lower Tyne\". Was quite pleased with myself until I saw Billzo\'s fish. Word has it a 9 1/2 pounda was caught on S.Shields pier last night as well. Beautiful NE swell running. Think some big SE\'s are due this week as well. Hope the fish are back.

I was close Foss. The poor bu66ers both ended up with the same fate.
How about this
\" Chance is always powerful. Let your hook always be cast; in the pool where you least expect it, there will be fish.\"

Hello john, I\'m the one who took the photo posted it under castle rock :) By the way I didn\'t take the credit for it ;)

Hello john mate sorry it took so long to reply, after you left that night I caught a big fat zero :( Will be there this weekend if I manage to get out might see you there?

Hoping to get out on Wed night Tompa. Could be a bit of a sea on. Looks like theres still the odd fish knocking about.

Joining Whitley club and fishing match tuesday night john so I wont be out wed. Keep intouch though cos as a rule I\'m always up to wet a line.
Depending whether I can get a babysitter that is :(
