Out up Blyth last night

Mad as a fish

My mate Nib and I had a look out last night on Blyth beach, it was one of those times when you wish you had stayed at home with your feet up in front of the telly.
The sea was looking perfect for fishing but then the freezing cold rain and put the dampeners on us so we packed up after sticking it out for four hours and one small whiting was the result, some lads to our left side of us where catching small stuff they had the common sense to pack up before us.
Hard lines Nib you blanked agian mate.

It was the same on Wed night at Blyth Beach. 3 of us fished for four hours and conditions looked perfect but no one told the fish that. Didn't get a singe bite didn't put on this site as I thought it was us 3 being crap anglers. Still there is always another day

Aye Mate
I fished the toilets, had one first chuck 2.5lb, and not another touch. I always like fishing the mark on a little bigger tide 4.7 -5.0, but as you say its really poor at the moment with sea conditions spot on last night , I was expecting a bit more.
