Only Inverclyde Council could think that spending £1.4 million on refurbishing Gourock Outdoor Pool was money well spent! I mean I love a Lido as much as the next man, but come on, how many days a year are warm enough to use it?

Makes you wonder what sort of people are on these Councils, Countrys in a Sh*t state with Councils being squeezed along with everyone else, & they want to spend all that dosh on a scheme that could wait.

I saw an article on North East news that said there were plans to do up the old pool. Don't know if it's going to happen though.
