except my last trip out was a disaster
Cod getting caught all around me while I was having an admin' nightmare...2 bust reels, crack offs, lost gear...the last crack off did for me and I ended up chucking my gear on the ground and kicking my rod stand over in disgust before packing up and stomping off to the car...
...I had a biccie and calmed down and went back to join my mates on the beach but I didn't fish the remaining hour and half of the match such was the level of my ire :red:
Have since tied a load of rigs, re-spooled and cleaned my reels and feel ready for the challenges ahead again

Thats the problem with boat fishing, you get used to the casual drop over the side, then when the beach fishing kicks in
. Still though i like the never say die attitude after having the bickie ( chocolate i presume ).
Anyway only 7 months to the spring run of boat coddies....

At least at this time of year if it's too rough to fish from the boat, the beaches should be worth a go, and the river season hasn't closed yet.
Spoilt for choice.

You're not the first and certainly wont be the last. Wally spat his out on Wednesday and I spat mine out on Monday. Loads of weed in 3 different marks and then the final straw was a crack-off that sent my toys out of the pram.

Both milk and plain chocolate digestives available at Lidl, only 59p per large packet.
ha ha mint just burst out laughing infront of the missus and had to explain now she think iv been cracking off all over the shop.god help me
