Well the first round draw was made tonight at Tony codling's cash match, the draw was made by the man himself, Tony.

The draw is as follows,the first pairing out of the hat are the hometeam, they need to submit 3 possible dates to the other pairing, who are the away team.

The away team will choose the most convenient time out of the 3 times they have been given.

You will have up until Sunday 7th January 2007 (almost 3 weeks)to fish your match.

The winning team are responsible for getting the result to me, please do your best to fish within the times, the sooner the better.

If a time cannot be mutually picked then the tye will be fished on the last sunday, a suitable and convenient time and venue will be picked for you. (hopefully it will not get to that point.

Hi Keith, the matchs should be no shorter than 3 hours and no longer than 4 hours, however if both teams want to fish for longer then they can agree among themselves.

I personally will not be fishing for any more than 4 hours.

I love being an underdog cos' there's nowt to loose, however 'the favourites' would have some walk of shame if they got spanked (Terry, dont bother getting your haemeroid cushion out yet, I think you might be safe). Just looking forward to getting better insults than you give Zippie cos he hasnt cried yet (he came close once mind you).

Foz, have i got news for you!

You and zippie are the favourites and as for the walk of shame, well i for one will not be ashamed if we do not catch more than yourself and david in fact i will hold my head up high because at least we had the bottle to put our names down and take our chances.

And as i have already stated it is not all about winning but meeting up with others and sharing a good nights fishing as well as getting a few tips along the way.

Terry, Well said,too true its learning new venues and having a bit crack with people with a common interest. Pity about the numbers that have signed up but if it turns out to be a success for those that take part this time and good feeback is posted then a few more might take part next time.
