Pairs KO first round draw

JIM, Both Zippie and me work shifts and were supplied with 3 suggested dates but Terry did say if none were suitable then we just had to let him know and he would have come up with something else as the whole idea is to get people fishing together. A little co-operation between all taking part is all that it takes and as it is the first comp like this I am sure there will be teathing problems. Keep at it and I am sure you will not be dissapointed.

To be fair to Stephen he did ring me last week to say they had picked the pier as the venue, and could we fish through the day through the hols. I did say it would probably have to be a night time, but heard nowt since.

All sorted for tomorrow night, thanks for the call and the tips Stephen, much appreciated mate. Looking forward to it, even if the weather is as bad as it looks like it is going to be lol.

Jim.

Well we fished the river at Hebburn tonight and the weather threw just about everything at us lol.

Started off with a decent Whiting on my first chuck and thought we were going to be in for a great night.

After that it was mainly smaller Whiting and Codling but Adam caught a nice Whiting a bit later on.

We decided before we started that we would just measure all of our fish and return them and the result was Stephen and Adam 180 cm myself and Keith 130 cm and lots of fish returned alive.

Well done Stephen and Adam and good luck in the next round lads.

Jim.

It was mine, marksworld, sless and weefuss's turn tonight and thankfully the wind had dropped so we decided to give shields pier a go .. started off at 44 and sless was first into the fish with a whiting of 33cm's then ehhh that was it hahaha one whiting caught all night ..we moved to the end to try our luck there but nowt I did have two traces come back slimed ..the craic was as to be expected absolute first class and graham kept us entertained all night with a very impressive collection of video footage hahaha good luck for the next round lads and would be nice to fish with you both again in better conditions hopefully get a little jls goin. Excellent night really enjoyed it and again good luck :)

glad you enjoyed them

Well thats the quarters all sorted!

Havent been on all week due to the dreaded flu bug ( been floored, not even thought about computer or fishing) how sad is that?

Was going to make the draw for the semi-finals tonight at Tony's Cash match however he cancelled this afternoon for safety reasons, Gale Force Winds, Tony showing some sense there ( i know its hard to believe).

So i will make the draw from the shop as and when some of the opposition come in, just to make it fair.

Do you know what sless i also hope you get us and just to give MB and i a half chance i hope we get the home draw.

Dont want to be stuck on the pier fishing a flood tide, if its the pier then i hope we fishe the round end on the ebb, or should that be the other way round?

Well Graham it looks as thought you got what you really wanted.

Zippie made the draw for us today in front of Neil.
