Parking at shields pier

Hi lads was wondering where the best place to park is when fishing south. Shields pier cheers in advance for comments

Use the pier car park mate it's pretty close like £3 all day or free after 8.30pm. Park in front of the barrier if you are fishing late as they lock the gates at midnight.

Aye and its only a £1 in the winter months.

Aye defo park infront of the barrier, made the mistake 2 weeks ago, came off the pier at 12, got to the van at 12:15 to find myself locked in and with a long walk home

The spaces on your left as you go in you don't get locked in. If you are leaving early you can drive right up to the gate at the Italian restaurant to park. Save a bit of walking cos you are straight on the pier.
