Going to SSP early tomorrow is there anywhere close to park car. I know there is car parks at the start but are they locked over night?

It's the car park at the base of the pier mate. When you 1st drive in there are some parking places to your right for 24 hrs access but if you drive on another 20 yards and go through the barrier that gets locked from 11pm or 12pm until about 7am the next morning.

i usually park at the old radar centre next to the caravans. never had a problem

The public car park right at the start of the pier has a few spaces before the gate that closes, just on your right hand side as you drive in. I think the gate gets closed at 10pm and opens about 7, so dont park there if you wanna get out early!!

Theres two spaces signed for electric car charing, then about 15 or so along side.

they are accessible 24hrs, charges £3 all day and start each day from 930 am til I think 1800.

The radar station is being cleared out and built into something else, lots of skips and scaffolding, vans etc around it so not sure you can still park there mate.

i was talking to the bloke who has bought the radar station ontuesday the car parks next to it is his land dont know wat he is goin to do with them he mite stop all the parking there yet he was a nice bloke thoughits goin to be his house and office he said

well ive just been down to do a bit makng and went to park in there was 3 spaces he told me know dont know if it was because there was skips on the grass or not went to the car parks and they were heaving gunna be a night mare to park ther ein the winter lads
