was meeting mad rob on roker pier on way up pier got talking to roker ronnie not much happening he said so wasnt expecting much as he knows everything lol
set up on roundhead about 6.00
5/0 pulley pennel full of yellows and squid .mad rob had caught a giant bullheadnothing for another hour so mad rob put a lug worm and a crab stick on his hook .....your laughing ...bite and a nice flounder
so then he hooked into a nice sized whiting
by now im starting to get a bit sick should i fish the bay ,change to small hooks ...even use crab sticks ...lol
anyway shortened my pulley rig and put 3 yellows on and a shorter cast
rod started banging again and again ,,,,excited is not the words boys grabed rod reeled in and struck ...im in rob and its a decent fish rod banging in my hand
a personel best for me ,over the moon not the biggest cod but a nice start and hopefully bigger to come weighed when got home just over 2lb
few more casts resulting in a tommy and a flounder
packed up 11.30 glad to get out the wind and write a report
