Is there another season for these or is that it now.

The cock crab should be starting to peel again.A few showing to traps in the Wear.
The lads with traps in the creek at Teesmouth usualy get them as late as November.
Waste of time on the beaches,the Velvets have eaten them all.....

we have still been getting them.

im sure the cocks peel first, then the hens, then the cocks again.
although, last time i was out, i had quite a few really big hens.

just depends on where you are getting them from and what the weather has been up to.
some peeps say that daylight, is a major factor as well as the temp.
temp will be the main thing, as long as we dont get a early cold spell, they should still be peeling.

There was none at Hartlepool on Sat-all rock hard-just found one big softy hen being protected by a big aggresive male.
