Peeler Crabs.

Does anyone know if the lobster boats get peeler crabs in their traps or are they just found inshore??

when crabs peel they stop eating so i doubt it,but i could be made to be corrected,lol

just my mate goes out for lobsters so i was thinking of asking him to get me some.

i think you are right red rock i have heard they dont feed when they are peeling too so i cant see them going into potts for out to eat

Me brothers a lobster fisherman and the only time he gets peelers is when he has potts in the river tyne. Sometimes he also gets carrier velvet crabs out in the oper sea, but not enough to kep and freeze.
