just seen some bought p/c yesterday 90p each,they were a DISGRACE,2 dead,1 not even a peeler.the bag of ragworm he also bought,i wouldent even put in my bucket.just aswell i always collect my bait.the moral is,bloody hard lines to the anglers having to forkout good money for sh.t bait.ps,no I WONT NAME THE TACKLE SHOP.

have to say I purchase my live bait from the same tackle shop for a very long time and the last lot we got was very very poor just about dead.
the problem is you don't see the bait until your start fishing
if this is the way he treats his regular customers giving them poor quality bait that support his shop in the winter and summer months is time to go elsewear.
same as reg will not name the shop but next time I go into his shop defo will be told and I will check the bait before I leave the shop.
on a average we spend around £8 -£12 on bait for the two of us per session.

I think the shop should be named. Waste of time putting a thread up and not naming the shop as it could happen all the time to someone else. Best of letting them no so they can check the bait before they leave

I no what you mean, when I buy bait I always check. More people need to do the same to save the bother they have in my opinion.

this is the first time we have had poor quality bait from this tackle shop in a very long time , possible just a one off.
my intention is to check the bait on collection this week before going out of the shop if its in the same condition then they will be told and named.
Totally agree with you mate another pointless thread unless named so others no, if it's the shop am thinking about he's a d**k anywhere and not very well liked

But if you want fresh crab you dont want to freeze them, i always use fresh in the summer so i but 50 a week and bring them on week by week no good buying crab the day before or same day as you want to use them
