Peeler use

Been using peeler for the last month but know naturally they wouldn't be present in the drink in the future months, but will it still fish aswell? Does peeler have a peak season then dies off?

normally the fish switch to worm after the first heavy frosts as the crab stop moulting. That said ive seen crab catch in the depths of last winter when everything else failed. I always carry frozen ones in my bait flask and any unused ones go back in the freezer. Depends what ground you're fishing too.
