Penn 535 bearings???

Hi new on here, but you can get 525 bearings from the Gateshead bearing Company, Its in Bill Quay just off the felling bypass. Hope this link works,

However the bearings are 6 quid a set, abec 5 rated (made in France), and the size is imperial (American reel)

(from memory so check)
OD. 3/8"
ID. 3/16"
thickness 1/8"

Speak to him on the Phone and confirm the sizes he deals with the fishing lads on a regular basis.

I take it it's your spool bearings that need changing Email Charlie at this address [email protected]. He will send you an invoice to pay via PayPal.

Make sure if it's the model with the right bearing bigger that the left that you tell him incase he sends you both bearings that are the same size!

Better still use the schematics to quote the bearing part numbers.

Just noticed penn 535 bearings! Not the sizes I highlighted which were for a 525,

If you do go to Gateshead bearings for them take the reel in and he should match them...sorry for the mistake...my fault for assuming you had the same problem I had with my 525....

try the guy hes cheap local and helpful. ring him first to check if hes in the shop he does a lot of site visits and can be out.

I've just bought some abec 5 stainless from Northumbria bearings in cramlington. Took the originals in and guy measured them and 2 minutes later I had 6 sets for my 525s. £25 all in. I'm sure they will have them for the 535s
