Penn slammer

Thinking of going back to f/spools, as get to much hassle with multi,s, been
looking at the penn slammer, has anyone got one or tried one and what
they like, will mainly be using it for shore fishing. thanks.

had a 'feel' of the liveliner slammer approx £90 or so i think at glasgow. seems to be a purpose built sal t water reel; feels solid too. wish i had the 90 to spare...
