Piers at Low Tide

Do the piers still retain adequate depth to provide any kind of fishing at low tide?

Said I'd take my mates spinning at Blyth tonight and high tide isn't till midnight(ish) we'd be turning up halfway through the flood...

Normally fine as long as you fish near the end of the pier mate. I always try chucking a rod in the inside of pier for flattys and codling.

When i normally fish for mackie at blyth pier, i have been going like an hour after low tide and fished all the way to high tide. Always caught a canny few when the conditions are right, but when the tide turns and starts going back out again, i havnt caught much mayb odd 1 or two here or there... hope that helps:D
