is there much about now i would of thought so with settled conditions, any advice on marks to fish and rigs and bait plus time to fish ie two hrs either side of high water ??? ta

Dont know how easy it is for you to get to John but the Shields Gazette reports that there have been plaice to 3lb from the 1st gate on Shields pier cud try wettin a line there mate and if nowt doing then move higher up the pier.

Shields pier always seems to do well for Plaice ,I lost a nice one at my feet from the groin around this time last year.
