plenty of fish plus dolphins roker pier

codfather 145 , mad rob and myself had a 10 hour session on the pier
got there 10 low water about 12 not alot of action untill tide turned then bites and fish almost all day
there was a lovely pod of about 12 dolphins or porposies about 100 yards lovely to see
a couple of new species for us a coalie and codling for codfather145

a spiney sea scorpion for me
made alot of weird noises like grunting sounds

a lovely yellow scorpion for mad rob

we had about 30 fish between us
codling,rockling,coalies,dabs,flounders,scopion fish and 1 whiting
met BIG FEN once again great crack and he was there to witness mad robs 1 1/2lb bass which we named billy the bass as it was singing and dancing lol
i lost a large lobster on the surface gutted is not the word
seen an absolute giant platform getting towed in too the river

great day, great weather and great banter
bait used everything possible we could carry

Busy session for you mate and a nice bag of fish. Saw a load of dolphins/porpoise off seaham early in the morning heading your way.lol

Never seen a yellow scorpion fish before! Sounds like a cracking sesh. Well done lads

Great report and pics. The colours on that scorpion are amazing. There were some dolphins/porpoises off shields pier on saturday morning too. I saw a small group maybe two or three of them and I think they were probably porpoises as they were smaller than the big dolphins you sometimes see.
