Been a while since i posted anything. I have been very patiently waiting for further news on the completion of the marina at Seaham, its been a nightmare reading all of positive catch reports knowing i am unable to put to sea just yet.
Whilst out the water i have been completing some jobs on the boat which were nagging me during last season, i only have a few small jobs left to complete and then antifoul.

Full rewire of all the boats electrics.
I have installed a new piece of flooring in the cuddy.
Non slip deck paint added to floor
Full repaint externally
New bilge pump fitted
A few cosmetic improvements.

Jobs left to do

Got the centre console to rearrange and paint
Antifoul
1 or 2 more small cosmetic jobs.

Did a lot of the work myself, but i have to thank Jpster who has helped me out on a couple of occasions and made life a bit easier for me, cheers mate.

Hopefully i will be at sea soon, im happy that we have these Easterlies hanging over us and putting people off going out to sea, im sorry but im selfish like that hahaha, only joking.

Hi Falcone, I was wondering where you were, getting your hands dirty by the sounds of it. Are there any dates for getting in the marina yet ?

I've been there. Spending time doing jobs while others are reeling the fish in.

The boat is looking really good. Not long now before it's your turn to get a few guts on the deck.

spot on mate did a cracking job just hope the council gets a move on and gets some more contractors in to finnish up and you will be hitting the cod

Did the rain hold off in the end.. didn't start raining in Durham till a bit later on?

And thanks for giving me the great job of cutting in! ;)

Hi chris, no dates at all yet which is a little worrying. My feet are getting that itchy i think i may have athletes foot.

John - Yeah the rain stayed away long enough to let the paint dry without any problems apart from one tiny area what needs a small touch up.

I done a few more small jobs yesterday, i put the rubbing strake back on, which was easy, sorted out a few small bits and bobs on my cuddy roof. I literally only have 3 jobs to go which would take me 2 hours to complete.

Looks like it's been well worth missing a bit fishing, cracking job, she's looking great. Keep a car sponge on board to keep that paintwork clean for when those TIGERS appear.:D Good job well done

yes very true, my last boats paint job was a collage of mackeral scales in the latter part of the season hehe.
Once im on a pontoon then im actually going to keep a length of hose on my boat to clean the boat down and flush the engine after use.

its good the rain didn't spoil everything and good to hear you got the strake back on. As always, give me a shout if you need anything else.

Hopefully not to long and you can get the boat back in and put it to use.

looking good mate, I hope the marina don't hold you up ....... will it be into sunderland if it falls too far behind?
