Poorly Fish In The Tyne

think a lot of the injuries are due to the seals and the cormorants

was a seal about at st peters last week

there a cormorant that seem to have set up residence at the coptorne
goes up and down the channel gets a flattie with every dive, but just seems to hack at the larger fish and then let them go

that might explain gashes but not the large amount of fish with lice and fungal infections?
iv never seen so many in all the years iv fished it

defo the seals i would say coddy lad. i was talking 2 a m8 of mine last week & he said when he was out doing his pots his boat was surounded by seals he said around 20 just following him around.
he said at 1 time all the boats used 2 have guns on board but not as many fishermen now as used 2 b.
i've had cod with big holes in them & i had a big flounder last week with a big tooth hole in its back that was starting 2 heal up but it was like a volcaino, it put a few more ounces on my weight mind lol.

was fishing tyne keyside yesterday 1 small codling with a bite mark out ov its back looked like a rotty had been afta it
