woke up at 6am, refreshed after a good sleep in the car. had a couple of sarnies for breakfast then got the gear set up and waited of the bore passing. cast straight out after it passed, straight into the flounders again, some on crab some on macky strip, one thing became obvious although macky strip was effective the fish were on average much much smaller than the ones caught on crab, it seems their diet must change somewhat as they get bigger. the action wasn't as hectic as yesterday but still managed somewhere between 25 to 30 fish, the best at 44 cm. a very enjoyable couple of sessions.

thats the place. to be honest there are loads of good marks but i tend to fish there for convenience, nice and close to the car, plenty fish plus the beach is very sandy mud as opposed to the sleck in some other areas there so you dont get as manky.

not in the least, i enjoy catching any fish whatever they may be, for me its great just being out, catching fish is just the icing on the cake. for sure i enjoy my cod fishing in the winter but can honestly say i enjoy the summer fishing wether it be for flounders, coalies, mackerel etc every bit as much !

Nice one mate, I was just asking because I find the flounders a pain in the A-hole but each to there own. I do understand they are great sport and flourish in numbers all year round.
