...are they taking crab baits yet - or still on the worm tipped with mackerel baits...?

If anyone is going across the A69 to Cumbria be aware there is 2 new speed cameras either side of the Shell garage at Low Row near the Nortumberland/Cumbria border.
The existing camera on the bridge at Hayden Bridge is still out of action after been fire bombed again.

Jim, surely 5 days notice is enough for most people to make there minds up? family or not. You know what its like , give people too much notice and they say yes at the time in good faith and then forget all about it! (NvS - this year)

I reckon a weeks notice spot on, it was for me anyway and i've got a young family.

Cheers

Steve, all I can say is that you are a very lucky man mate. Not a chance of me being able to sort things out in that little time.

We are going to Portpatrick at the end of June and that has been arranged for a while, if not I would not be able to go.

Jim.

well lads we had a good day at port carlisle yesterday and had a cash match and a good few fish caught the result 1st 534cm gordon johanson 2nd trevor taylor 522cm 3rd 359cm graham armstrong (moocher) and all others over 300cm .So if there is enough intrest i will try to get another on before the summer league starts so send me a pm and if there is enough people i will do it again (but give them with family a bit more notice) at the same place, date and time to be set depending if there is enough people

I'll be up for a re-match Neil. Great day had by all. Some cracking sport with superbly conditioned fish. Shame the bore was just a "little un!".

Let me know when about a week in advance - might be able to ge a few others interested.

Well played Gordon on winning.

Cheers

Steve
