Hello mate
Thats great, thanks very much for that
I will have to measure the rod but i think it will fit, i have put it up in the loft out of the way but will get it down tonight to have a look
Its a penn ppt pit viper its 13'4" but i dont think its equal sections
If it will fit i will most certainly come and pick it up
Cheers

agree with hodeano used them loads and no probs at all if micks tube is to small dean i,ve got plenty here for you for free mate just give me a bell regards stan

As above interparcel are spot on, I also went to local carpet shop asked fir tube and he was trying to give me 50 tubes lol

All sorted thanks for help
Used paisley freight there website is very easy to use
Only thing i found was £5.99 extra for £100 insurance seems very steep
Saying that mind, them carpet tubes would take some damaging! needed to use a hand saw to chop the end off

Jesus, should of probably not of been such a tight tw*t and payed for the extra compo!
It does say you are covered for £5 for every kilo of weight and the rod can weigh a maximum of 20kg!!:o if it gets damaged, i will say it was a very very heavy lead based rod and weighed spot on 20kg
