Pottery Bank

Early start fishing at about 07:15. A few knocks but nothing really until the ebb. 3 decent size Whiting , best 14 oz gutted plus a nice codling 1 3/4 lb. All on ragworm. Lost the best fish getting hung up :¬(.

Fished with my Bass rod and 3 oz sinkers , single 1/0 VMC Aberdeen. Bites were "pick up and drop". Great sport but a little nippy.

Nice one Terry ,it's a canny shot at night as long as the local idiots keep away ... I was born and bred around there and I can't believe how bad it is now.

It's in Walker Tony ,from your place follow Walker Road pass the County pub on your right then it's second left or you can go down Belmot bank which is left at the lights on the next crossroads ,down to the bottom and under the railway bridge on the right which will take you to Walker riverside ,you can fish straight from the car .

Just ate some of the fish with chips tea , bread and butter. Takes some beating !!!
