he's not an idiot, i just dont think he's very bright, at least with regards to footballing matters, i don't know him personally so i cant question his character.

Most of the sensible mackems ive spoken too aren't looking forward to yet another season of low quality football played at the wrong end of the league table, safc's soul ambition is to stay in the premier league,

Gutted we've been relegated, of course, and short term bragging rights are with the mackems, but long term should ultimately be completely different

with rafa staying at least some hope has been offered, we hated big sam's management here, it's boring and mundane, survival football which belongs in the dark ages- much like most of the plastic mackems on here...

The mackems on here who actually go to the games are usually quite sensible, they realize how poor SAFC and big sam are, and how poor north east football has been in recent years

I do love to hear a mag bleating on about Sams style of play. No one is ever good enough for them, they even hounded out Sir Bobby because 4th place was too low for their delusions of grandeur. No wonder the rest of football is laughing at them.

Iam bright enough to know were the faults lie in my team,it's just a pity you and every other fan can not just get to grips with how poor your team is.the boring and mundane football style you refer to is a tongue and cheek jibe,that your team could not adopt to save a so called massive club.
My feet are firmly planted on the ground as to what we can achieve,and believe you me it's mid table and maybe in time a little better.your so called saviour is a good manager,but can he deliver,were so many have tried and failed.
Ill quote again rafa had enough games to save your so called massive club.
I also don't think my outburst/language was over the top,the aftermath that followed was it hit home how crap the mags are.
So we'll just see how both teams fair this season,but don't forget 20 teams above you have a 100 million plus head start on the boys up the road.

short term braging rights,the fact is we are better than your lot.funny how big sam wasn't good enough for the mags just like Pardew wasn't yet there both in the prem and where are the mags ?rafa had quarter of the season to save your lot,he had to play the other 3 teams down there,couldnt beat any of them,not even a villa side that had lost the last 11 games ,in fact couldn't even score against them.hope he keeps up the good work next season,enjoy the fixtures when they come out tomorrow
