is the hsm and primp syncro up to chucking 5 or 6 plus bait off piers jettys not heavy ground or will thay fold in a modrate sea can u zippy lads give me your thoughs befor i get shot fished off the beach with them seemed ok

Both will cast them leads no problem, there more of a rod that suits pendulum casting, a simple over head thump and they will feel like spinning rods. But very capable rods on the right hands.

Pighunters bang on,both match rods, but very very capable,me pal has a high speed match, loves it to bits, clean n mixed ground,6oz leads in big seas ,does the bizz 4 him:cool:

First time I've ever heard of the Synchro described as a match rod, but the rest of your comment is spot on.

Love mine, a proper wind up rod that loves a big arc, might seem soft to some but that's only because their casting isn't good enough to get into the meat of the rod. Will it fold in a big sea? Don't be daft, if anything it is far better than the fetishised scaffold pole rods that will trip the lead out because they are too stiff for a decent sea. It's not a rough ground rod for sure but the only other place I wouldn't use mine is off a high pier like Shields and only then because it's not the best rod for winching a fish up the side.

What it is is a very good fishing rod that can put a lead a very long way in the right hands. It will be fine for an OHT, probably more so than the HSM but learn to cast and the rod really will sing for you

Cheers stewart:)yahs right there pal:red:more of mxd ground tool, but like u say very capable rod that can fire a lead out,not as powerfull as a zeteque or m427, compared to the primo (fishing rods)agree with your there buddy:)
