Private beach cresswell

Fished the private beach lastnight not a great night slipped on the rocks before I even cast out knocked the inner out my tip eye lost loads of gear the was big had prolems with weed got soaked with hail then it started thundering so decided to call it a night at 9pm guy next to me had a couple of coddling biggest about 2pm

Unlucky mate private beach isn't the best location to avoid the weed with a bit sea running bud but it can produce on the smaller tides

Used to get some cracking fish from there years ago,but the last time i fished
it a year ago,i did not get one set of gear back,in fact every time i picked
my rod up,and tried to reel in,it was solid,it would'nt move an inch.I moved
about a bit,but it was the same every chuck.It seemed as if there was'nt a
grain of sand there anymore,just rock.After losing about seven or eight
sets of gear i hoyed the towel in,and have'nt been back.
