Profile picture sizing

How do I get my picture to the size for my profile it says upload failed when I try to change it. Any ideas? Or anyone want to do it for me haha?

use ms paint to make it smaller , save the smaller image and use it .

I use a free program called Irfanview to resize photos etc.
