great to see the winner of the cleadon club this week was a decent cod,well done mate,not into all this baggin up whiting malarky,proper fish,thats why i avoid the club scene,would love a cod only club,my 6 yr old can catch yt,no challenge.

Let's hope we get the right conditions this year for the rocks and beaches, last year was very poor for the rock lads and marsden in general didn't really fish that well at all

if the whiting do,not get caught as thier is that many of them at times you probs would,nt catch any cod as the whitings will take your bait can be a pest when you are targeting the cod

hey them whitings won me a few quid last year but like said ya can only catch whats there if theres no cod if it wasnt for the whiting the lads wud have no one weighing in some nights

everything we put in the water caught a whiting last season. even over rock we caught them.

cod in our matches were very few and far between.

only when the sea was really rough did we weigh in any cod.

Fishing club matches is about taking part and enjoying yourself whatever you catch the funny thing I found last night is I weighed 3 fish in for 1lb14oz where as my average sized. Fish was 15lb from april to now but I still enjoyed myself last night it was spot on
