pulling out of snags with braid

Put your right hand up the rod, turn the rod 2 or 3 times so the braid runs over your coat (Not your bare skin) and move your rod back a meter!

i have been using braid for 7 seasons now on a 525 535 and a 7500 and have never used any wood or bar just rap i round your arm and move it about 3 ft and your free i will say i would never change back to mono

Type, Berkley big game 65lb b/s, rubbing leader, yes, pulling out of a snag, wrap round arm if not botherd about slicing smock etc, alternatively wind down as if getting ready to "strike" in an old skool stylee then yank and wind yank and wind until the angle becomes so great rod tip snaps!
go home, go online and start a thread about how crap S~nik/Gr~ys rods are because they snap.. sorted

for those of you who have used braid has it caused any damage to rod guides as dont want to try it only to discover it has damaged me rings

yup i wrap the line round my arm (clothed arm)... turn and put the line over my shoulder..2 steps later ..snag free..(shoulder part isn't fully needed ..just im not good walking backwards across rocks) lol
