pully rig with rotton bottom

how are people tying these up,are them canny links any good.anyone use a imp with upside down Gemini clip on the bottom

I use a pulley rig with a home made rotten bottom clip what my mate made. I'm sure Paul Edwards uses the same type if thing and he may have a video on how to make them bud. If not I'll try and get a picture for you over the weekend

I have used them canny links and thay do a good job simple idea but a good idea

I have used the upside gemini and there poor, best rotton bottom I have used it the gemini ones with the sliding red collar releases every time and if you get your rig back, you get your rotton bottom back.

Is the hook just clipped under the pin?

No it's clipped under the loop then the pin through the loop which traps the hook against the lead eye under tension if that makes sense... 100% release and will get a bait as tight behind the lead as you'll ever get, especially the namix flat backs

Can you swing a lead with them?

Ive just ordered some of these off ebay 190737959442 they turned up today but look really long to me and the hook looks as if it wont release the lead. Anyone else used them?

as long as the weak link releases properly I wreckon the braking strains the most important?/ secondly the length of it
